If you visit my website, you’ll notice that image on my home page has changed. The new image is of the Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver, British Columbia. My husband and I were able to visit this gem in the city while visiting friends recently. We almost missed out since we didn’t realize we needed to go to the other side of the park to find the real attraction, which is the quarry gardens. Vancouver is home to some beautiful natural spaces, amazing sushi, and striking sunsets. It’s also an easy drive from Seattle. Our friends there also work in design, so we spent a fair amount of time just driving through the city looking at the architecture and talking shop. There is so much to see and do, whether you love the outdoors or city life.
